Introduction

Serialisation of the book Our Protestant Heritage
By Rev W St Clair Taylor
Adapted By Professor Arthur Noble

Boys and girls generally consider history to be one of the most interesting of their studies, and it is right that this should be so, because in history we learn about the foundations on which the world of human life as we know it has been built.

In all the history of our beloved land there is no event more important than the Great Reformation of the 16th century, a study of which I heartily commend to every boy and girl. I hope that all through their lives they will value our Protestant Heritage and the religious liberty which was only secured for us at the cost of many noble and precious lives, and can only be retained by the faithful vigilance of those who in succeeding generations are brought into the light and knowledge of the Truth of God. - PW Petter
