Welcome to the archive of The Revivalist, the Official Organ of the Free Presbyterian Church in Ulster. This archive contains all issues of The Revivalist from its inception in 1951 until 1998. The magazine is published monthly, except usually for July and August which has a combined issue. If you would like any of the issues from 1999 then they are available from: The Business Manager, The Revivalist, Church House, 356-376 Ravenhill Road, BELFAST, BT6 8GL.

Certain conventions have been used in the on-line HTML versions of the magazine. One of these is that the page numbers are included should you wish to refer to anything within the magazine if you are writing a paper or thesis using them. These are given in brackets thus [28] and that means that any text after [28] is on page 28 in the original version.

Please note that anything that is in emboldened square brackets, e.g [MEDITATIONS FOR THE MONTH], has been added to the original text. Square brackets in ordinary text format, e.g [Sabbatism], are from the original.

As yet, no photographs are included in this archive but that is intended to be done at a later date. Similarly, the monthly devotional section has not yet been scanned but, once again, some time in the future this will be added to the archive. For various reasons, advertisements have not been incorporated into these html documents.

Due to the nature of the process of capturing the data from the original printed copies of The Revivalist (i.e using a scanner's Optical Character Recognition facility to read the text, and then proof-reading them at a later date), there are bound to be errors in the text in this archive.
